Christ the Redeemer Troop 573

On a beautiful morning of Saturday, January 14, 2017, Christ the Redeemer Troop 573 from Cypress, TX assisted Fr. Hugh Cullen in the removal of the Christmas light at the Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza Retired Priest Residence located at Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston St. Dominic Village in Houston, TX. Brother Knights Steve Davis and Joel Docog were part of the troop leaders in attendance. The troop had a surprise visit from the building’s namesake, His Excellency and Sir Knight (Assembly 2033) Archbishop Emeritus Fiorenza! If that wasn’t enough, the scouts were rewarded with a cup of hot chocolate! This will be an annual service project said John Bills, Troop 573 Committee Chair.
