2017.3 Fort Worth Diocese Free Throw February 11

Fort Worth held their Regional Free Throw Contest Saturday, February 11 in the ‘big gym” at Nolan High School, Fort Worth. District winners from 13 different councils vied to earn the right to represent the Diocese in San Antonio at the State Contest. David Pels, Diocesan Youth Chairman, managed the event with help and advice from Pat Henz (Star Council Chairman). District Deputies Fabio Borda, Bill Mechura, and Dick Norgaard, along with Jack Schooley Past Chapter President, and PGK Al Chase (Council 9868), assisted them. One highlight was in the 11-year-old boy category where a three-way tie had to be settle with two tiebreakers!
