Wylie Knights & Squires Serve Together on Good Friday

On April 14th, the Knights of Council 12300 and the Squires of Circle 5279 based at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie served together during the Good Friday Celebration of the Lord’s Passion that included the Veneration of the Cross. Taking turns, the Knights and the Squires formed 4 teams of 2 that held the Crucifix for almost one hour allowing the parishioners of the packed sanctuary the opportunity to personally venerate the Crucifix. The 4 teams consisted of Squire & Knight Sean Fletcher and Squire Kyle Fletcher; SK Chris Starr and his grandson, Squire Matthew Collins; SK Patrick Fletcher and Squire Michael Hansen; and, Knight Mike Snow and SK Mike Reiter.
