PSD Terry Simonton Elected to Supreme Board

In the Wednesday morning Business Session Aug.8, PSD Simonton was elected to the Knights of Columbus Board of Directors. Terry converted to Catholicism while stationed at Fort Dix, N.J., in 1968. A Knight for more than 32 years, he has been a member of Council 3444 and Council 12931, serving in various roles in both councils.

He joined the Fourth Degree in April 1989, and has served in many offices, including Faithful Navigator for Assembly 1138.

He was appointed district deputy of the Texas State Council in 1993, afterward serving in a number of roles at the state level, including state treasurer in 2010, state secretary in 2012 and state deputy in 2014. In January 2018, he was appointed to serve on the United States Membership Growth Task Force.

Terry retired from Ronald Carroll Surveyors in 2010, after working as a land surveyor and project manager there for 22 years. Prior to this he worked at Mitchell & Assoc.

He and his wife, Estelle, have been married for more than 48 years. They have two children and four grandchildren.
