Scholarship Checks

The Bishop Bernard Ganter Council 951 of Beaumont had a productive first quarter of 2018/2019 in charitable contributions. The Council presented it annual scholarships to 6 high school graduates from the Beaumont Diocese. The Council was able to present six $1000.00 scholarships with the money being raised from several Council activities including a monthly casino bus trip to Kinder Louisiana and monthly fish and chicken dinners. The Council also presented a check for $1000.00 to Birth Right. The Council also has several fund-raising events in the upcoming year to raise money for Some Other Place, St Anthony School, 100 Club and the Rainbow Room. Last year the Council raised and donated $13,515 to these organizations.
