Texas State Charities Presentation

At the Clergy appreciation meals Thursday State Deputy Mark Evans from St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Flint presented Bishop Strickland a check from the Texas State Charities in the amount of $21,183.55 to be used for the education of the Tyler Dioceses Seminarians. This represents the 25^th year the Tyler Dioceses Councils have met and exceeded in State Councils Charities voluntary assessment of $10 per Council member. We are the only Texas Diocese to meet our requirement for 25 consecutive years .
