Busy Spring for Council 6878

Here at Council #6878 of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Humble, TX, we have had a very busy Spring!

Early on, the Council spearheaded a campus-wide sprucing up in anticipation of Holy Week and Easter Sunday.We also had our annual Street Corner Collection which is a major fundraising event that helps us support a wide variety of local charities.

The weekend after Easter was a major “activity weekend”.The Council had a team go a Special Olympics Track & Field Meet to cook some burgers and hot dogs for the participants.The same day also saw the Holy Smokers cooking team at the Chicks & Hogs event for Family Promise, a local charity.The school carnival was held the same day and Knights could be seen across the campus helping in the fun. Officers were also in attendance at the State Convention.

All of this will all be followed by a very busy May! The Knights are putting into action the principle of Charity!
