Council 10463 Grand Knight & Spouse Honored with Lumen Gentium

On July 16, 2019 the Diocese of Austin awarded a Lumen Gentium Award to Mike and Sylvia Valls, wonderful couple at St Mary, Our Lady of the Lake Parish.

Mike is the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 10463 and a member of the Parish Pastoral Council. Sylvia is the vice president of the Women’s Guild, a catechist and is involved in the prayer shawl ministry. Mike and Sylvia never cease to say “yes” when asked to help. They model a beautiful Christian marriage and what it is meant to be true servants of Christ..

Council 10463 is a small council of 96 members.
