It was an early morning on November 30, 2019 for Thomas P. Shields Assembly 2370, of Harker Heights, Texas. Assembly Knights started at 5 am to prepare breakfast burritos with coffee and hot cocoa in support of over 400 motorcycle riders and car club driver wreath escorts. The escorts rallied at the Killeen Special Event Center to escort the wreaths to be laid at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. This year, the Knights were supported by the Post Confirmation Youth Group from St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church from Harker Heights, TX in preparing and serving the food and drinks. Assembly Knights also supported the event at the cemetery with coffee and hot cocoa for the volunteers who set up the event and laid wreaths at every grave. This is an annual event that continues to grow every year. There were over 3000 volunteers who supported this event by paying their respects and ensuring that every grave was presented with a wreath.
