My Brother Knights,

Every July 1 we get to start fresh with our Councils.This year is no different.However, we have a new Texas State Council Administration.We give respect & praise to the previous Administration for a job well done, but now is the time to refocus your energy and accomplish those goals we were just short of.

Our Worthy State Deputy, Brother Alfredo Vela, has the slogan “Let’s Get It Done, Back Basics, No Excuses.”He wants to have every council be successful no matter what it takes.He is traveling across this great State by visiting every Diocese at least once a quarter.He is willing & available to host the Charity, Unity, & Fraternity Exemplifications in person or virtual.

We as the Education, Training, & Communications (ETC) team want to eliminate any obstacles you have in making your council successful.We have started by completely redesigning our State Website.Please go to ww.tkofc.org and explore.We have links to forms, directories, training on the site. You should constantly visit the State website & Supreme’s website weekly for updates.

We have brought back the “Finish Line” to keep you abreast of the events & deadlines for the next 30-60-90 days. We have 6 (possibly 7) Financial Secretary Trainers positioned across this State to help the council’s FS.The FS Trainer Craig Modrzynski has created videos on how to fill in the Report of Officers – Form 185 & Report of Service Personnel – Form 365. We want to get it done for you.

We as State Officers & Major Directors are traveling the State making the Diocesan Conferences to ensure concise & consistent message is being delivered.We want to get back to basics to ensure your success.

We are open to any training ideas you need to be successful.We will explore all possibilities to get you the help & training that you need.Whether it is an email, phone call, virtual, or live in person, we are here & ready to work for you – just ask.We will not have any excuse to keep us from being the best we can be.
