St Elizabeth Council 10373 hosted the 19th annual Pflugerville Christmas Parade on December 5, 2015. It had nearly 40 participants – the most ever – and had the largest crowds ever, with even more people than the annual Deutschen Pfest parade according to the City of Pflugerville.

The theme as always was “Keep Christ in Christmas”. The last float in the parade featured one of the members of Council 10373 as Santa Claus in a sleigh bearing the Knights of Columbus logo and pulled by a truck carrying a large “Keep Christ in Christmas” banner. After the parade, Santa led a tree lighting and then spent more than 90 minutes taking pictures with children.

The Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department arranged activities and entertainment downtown for kids as part of its “Pfestival of Lights”. The Pflugerville Downtown Association had tent sales during the day. Songwriters Across Texas put on a concert after the parade. It was truly a major community event.

The City of Pflugerville created a video highlighting the parade and some of the follow-on activities.
