Council 7264 Golf Tournament Charity Fundraiser

Knights of Columbus Holy Spirit Council 7264 of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Weatherford, TX held its 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in October of 2015 at the Split Rail Golf Course in Aledeo, TX. Knights Neal Hoelting chaired this year’s event, John Achtyl kept everything organized, Leonard Wright took care of the food, and Dave Yaniko handled all the golf logistics. The Parker County Responding to Every Assault and Crisis Team (REACT), a victim-centered organization developed to assist those who have been affected by trauma or violent crime, assisted to ensure golfers had plenty of water and snacks throughout the day. More than $21,000 was raised through corporate sponsors, hole sponsors and a raffle to support national and local charities. Door prizes were also awarded. Following the golf tournament was a bbq lunch provided by the Holy Spirit Council.
