First Degree for Squires

The Dallas Diocese held a special first degree ceremony for Squires in the diocese who had turned 18 in the first half of the fraternal year. The young men related they felt very comfortable joining the Knights with their peers as compared to being in class where they are the youngest among a bunch of "old men". Another degree will be scheduled in June for Squires turning 18 in the second half of the year. Statewide over 200 Squires turn 18 and age out of the program each year. Extra effort is worth it to make these young men Knights as they set out on their adult life.
