On Sunday, July 23, the Weimar Knights of Columbus Council # 2153 celebrated 96 years of service with an Awards and Appreciation luncheon. During this luncheon K C members and students from elementary school to high school received recognition for their efforts.

Scholarship Chairman Willie Tichavsky presented three scholarship winners with $1000.00 each. Those receiving the scholarships are: Amberly Munsch, Makayla Kunz, and Collin Schuetze.

Youth Activities Director Michael Koeth presented Knights of Columbus State Awards to seven (7)

St. Michael Catholic School students. These winners were recognized at the Knights of Columbus State Convention in Dallas in April of this year.

Financial Secretary Herb Ulbrich was honored to present ten K C members receiving recognition for their long-term commitment to the Knights of Columbus. Five Honorary Life (HL) Membership and five Honorary Life Membership (HM) certificates and membership cards given to Weimar Knights of Columbus Council # 2153 members.

Grand Knight Martin Luchak Presented Plaques to Family of the Year and Knight of the Year.

Family of the Year was presented to Michael and Michel Koeth for their outstanding dedication to St. Michael Church, School, and the Community. They also work with Little League, Boy and Girl Scouting and other Community activities. This family is a good example of a Christian family and we are proud to have them in our Knights of Columbus family.

The Members of KC Council # 2153 wish to present Michael and Michel Koeth as our “Family of the Year”.

Knight of the Year was presented to Willie Tichavsky for his outstanding work as Past Grand Knight and dedication to managing the Columbus Club Hall. He keeps the Columbus Club Hall, formally known as the KC Hall, looking great inside and outside.

The members of Council #2153 wish to present Willie Tichavsky as “Knight of the Year” and to Thank You for your many years of service to the Weimar Knights of Columbus.
