COUNCIL 6878 HOSTS SQUIRES STATE CONVENTION

Knights of Columbus Council #6878 of Humble, TX hosted the Annual Texas Squires State Convention at McGivney Hall on the campus of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Humble, TX.

The active participation of the Council in planning for the Squires Convention was well appreciated by the attendees. SK Adrian Garza, the convention guest speaker, was presented with a plaque after he spoke to the Squires. His commitment to the public good is evidenced by his various positions in law enforcement. He also was a mayoral candidate in 2016.

The Council operates as a parish-based council in conjunction with St. Mary Magdalene Church in Humble, TX. The Council has awarded $73,000 to local charities as a result of their fundraising activities in the FY ending 6/30/2017. For the past 20 years, the Council has made donations in excess of $700k.
