Father Joseph Plummer Council 10872, Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Spring, TX held its tenth annual wine-tasting dinner. Over 200 parishioners and friends enjoyed a tasty and elegant five course dinner with a West Coast Wine Trail theme. Each course was accompanied by a carefully selected wine from California, Oregon, or Washington. Knights and spouses selected all the wines, and prepared all the food. The food, wine, and fellowship made this a memorable evening for all

Net proceeds of $10,000 were used to purchase new audio-visual equipment for our parish community. The equipment included a high resolution projector system for our social hall and six 60” TV’s and Blu-ray Players for youth Faith Formation classrooms and parish meeting rooms. These additions nicely complemented the eight TV’s acquired for our pre-school, elementary, junior high, and high school Faith Formation classrooms with the profits from our 2016 wine-tasting dinner. Brother Knights not only purchased the equipment, but also expertly installed it in each of the classrooms and meeting rooms.
