Fellowship with Sister Parish

Holy Trinity Council 9967 in San Antonio, Texas shared lunch with the parishioners of their “sister-parish” St. Timothy. On June 10, at about 6 o’clock in the morning the BBQ pits were fired up and 400 chicken halves plus 800 links of sausage were ready to be BBQ’d. The occasion marked the first time the sister parishes had gathered together for such an event. Over 600 meals were served that day. All remaining BBQ chicken and sausage was served at St. Timothy parish’s upcoming vacation bible school. Members of Council 9967 from Holy Trinity enjoyed preparing the meal for, as well as breaking bread with, their brothers and sisters in Christ from St. Timothy Catholic Church.
