Council 6878 Major POD

Knights of Columbus Council #6878 of Humble, TX acted as one of the major PODs that were held in the Houston area. Over the course of 6 events at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Humble, TX, they served an estimated 1400 people who stopped by. Many of those people were also gathering items for family members who were not able to attend. In addition to making a couple of trips the central POD on Telephone Road, the Council worked with many other entities to coordinate the distribution of supplies and food. Organizations such as the Food Bank, the Teamsters Local 988, Boars Head and people who just saw the POD and stopped by with donations.
