Fort Hood Confirmation

Members of the Thomas P. Shields Assembly 2370 Harker Heights Color Guard provided and honor guard to assist in the Confirmation of 30 Fort Hood Texas soldier and family members receive their confirmation 3 February at St Elizabeth Ann Seaton Community at in the Spirt of Fort Hood Chapel. Most Reverend Neal Buckon, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, Vicar for the Western half of the United States Vicariate, presided over the mass.

Assembly 2370 is formed from two councils, St Andrew Kim Council 9930 and SPC Casey A. Sheehan Council 13534. Members preformed duties as ushers direct the flow of the candidates and the Bishops Honor guard.

Two active duty members of the U.S. Army are LTC Juan Nava (Grand Knight Council 135534) and MSG Lorenzo Maldonado. SFC (RET) Ernesto Soriano from the Fort Hood Council were present. Members of Council 9930 are Color Coprs Commander Randy Sumerall, Marshal Bill Ciesiolka, District Deputy Wayne McCart, Deacon Klaus Adam, Arnold Krostag, Warren Swadder, Kevin Kenneally, and Charles Parker.
