St. Thomas More Council 9997 Launches Quarterly Newsletter Outreach

Our goal is to keep all members up-to-date on our many activities and to solicit their feedback on the Council and its direction. We’re especially looking for comments from brother Knights who, for whatever reason, haven’t been able to participate on a regular basis. The inaugural issue showcased our projects over the last quarter, which included: our annual Council Golf Tournament that raised over $14,000 for the parish branch of Mobile Loaves and Fishes to feed the homeless; creation of a new Communications Committee to modernize and expand the ways we communicate to brother Knights; our Thanksgiving and Christmas Nut Sales, which raised almost $3,900 to support seminarians and other worthy charities; the major degree ceremony we hosted for many Councils in our area; our work in beautifying the parish for Christmas with luminaries; managing parking for thousands of parishioners on Christmas Eve, and a report on our annual Christmas Party for Knights and their families. We are active and soliciting members for even further participation in the New Year!
