Super Bowl Briskets

Knights from St. Anne Council #11472 in Tomball, Texas filled 80 orders for smoked brisket – just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. Twenty-eight members started the annual Super Bowl Brisket preparations early Saturday morning by trimming, seasoning, and stacking over 900 lbs of meat on the smokers. With meticulous detail to firewood, meat placement, heat, turning, wrapping, and cooking time; the briskets were finished, pulled from the pits, and placed in insulated containers. Delivery took place the morning of Super Bowl LI. Hundreds of fans (fellow Knights and parishioners at St. Anne) enjoyed the game and the commercials feasting on some of the best smoked meat in Texas! Sales from this annual fund raiser support Youth programs sponsored by the Council.
