Green Bay, WI – The St. John Paul II LIFE Center is the recipient of the 2017 Relevant Radio® Austin Christ Brings Hope Award. Reverend Francis Hoffman, Executive Director of Relevant Radio, and Thomas Vorpahl, Chairman of the
Board, presented the award to The St. John Paul II LIFE Center during a dinner in Austin on March 28. St. John Paul II LIFE Center co-founders Pat and Tim Von Dohlen and Sheri and Chris Danze were present to accept the award.
St. John Paul II LIFE Center was awarded the Christ Brings Hope Award for their dedication to promoting a culture of life and supporting mothers, babies, and families in the Austin area with medical care, education, and other resources.
St. John Paul II LIFE Center opened in 2010 and provides obstetrical and gynecological services that adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church, ministers to women in crisis pregnancies and provides education on Natural
Family Planning, chastity, and more. The center’s mission is “to help build a Culture of Life structured on the Catholic faith through Pro-Life medical care and educational programs.”
The Christ Brings Hope Award is an award presented by Relevant Radio to American Catholics who have worked with extraordinary dedication to bring the good news and hope of Christ to all souls. The previous recipient of the Christ
Brings Hope Award in Austin is Alan Graham, founder of Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
While visiting Washington DC regarding matters impacting the
St. John Paul II Life Center, Dick and Judy Ames and Tim and Pat Von Dohlen
visited the Fox News set of the Special Report with Bret Baier and later met
with Bret Baier, Laura Ingraham and Dr. Charles Krauthammer after the show.
