Food Baskets

In mid-December, Council 8096 in Houston, TX held their annual Food Basket program supporting seniors needing assistance.The Knights of 8096 collected specific food items and turkeys for the program.With family members assisting, the food was packed into 110 boxes and loaded onto a Catholic Charities van with 68 turkeys to be delivered to the elderly families.Council goal was to support 55 families and excess food was given to our parish SVDP.
