The Dr. Juan Gonzalez, Jr. Scholarship

The Dr. Juan Gonzalez, Jr. Scholarship was awarded recently to Katie Jane Pitchford. Mike Cottrell, Leo Saenz, Jennie Pitchford representing her sister, Katie Jane who actually won the scholarship, Juanita Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez and Tim Dwyer are pictured. Katie Jane attends TCU and was at school getting ready for semester ending exams and final papers. To the family of Sir Knight, Dr. Juan Gonzalez, Jr., Council 7600 is very appreciative of the kindness and generosity of the Gonzalez family. At their behest, the $1000 scholarship, given in memory of Sir Knight Dr. Juan, was given to Katy Jane, a "very strong willed, driven, determined, self-motivated, Christian young lady."
