Walk for Scholarships

Resurrection of the Lord Council 8158, San Antonio Texas, had its 20 ^th annual “Walk for Scholarships,” given to worthy high school graduates from our parish community. Our Council has been giving out college scholarships since 1984 but didn’t start walking for pledges until 1998 in an effort to raise money. Our walks were to Waco, Gonzales, Corpus Christi, and San Juan. Our Council was founded in June 1982. To date we have given 208 scholarships totaling $152,850.00 to 1 ^st and 2^nd year college students.
