Mansfield Council 7736 Scholarship Program

The Knights of Columbus Council 7736 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas, along with the St. Jude Catholic Women’s Organization, presented eight $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors of the parish. Scholarships were awarded after Mass on May 26, 2019.

This is the 13TH year of the Knights of Columbus scholarship program for graduating high school seniors of the parish. The Knights have issued more than $90,000 worth of scholarships over this time.

Applicants were judge based on their academic record, extracurricular, community and church activities. Funds for the scholarship were raised through a scholarship raffle at the parish and many generous contributions from the members of the parish.

Recipients of scholarships were Xavier Rodriguez, Emily Rose Olguin, Megan Guevara, Katherine Dressel,

Lizetd Olalde, Natalie Ponder, Daniela Wong and Jocelyn Rios.
