Scholarship Presentation

St John’s Council 8190 of Luling, Texas was proud to present scholarships toward continued education on Sunday, July 14, 2019. The council receives applications each year for this scholarship and this year, two recipients were chosen. Pictured from left to right: Recorder Marc Escalante, Grand Knight Gilbert Bermudez, Scholarship recipient Celina Hernandez, Scholarship recipient Miguel Ordonez, Most Reverend Father Howard Goertz and Treasurer Juan Rios. Miss Hernandez plans to attend Texas A&M University in the fall while Mr. Ordonez plans to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio. Good luck and blessings to both!
