St. Thomas More Parish Food Pantry

St. Thomas More Parish Food Pantry, in conjunction with the Houston Food Bank, distributed hundreds of pounds of free fruits and vegetables to needy families at its first annual food and health fair. Many volunteers assisted the Pantry including Knights of Columbus Southwest Council 3910 members Vinny Stasio and Jeff Strauser (pictured inset). The St Thomas More Food Pantry, located on church grounds at 10330 Hillcroft Ave., Houston, Texas 77096 operates two days a week to feed needy families, but it is only equipped to distribute non-perishable food products. So the Houston Food Bank's 30 foot refrigerated truck was much appreciated on this day and was "open for business" from about 10:30 am to 1:00pm.
