Brother Knights from St Raphael Knights of Columbus Council 7563 joined forces with the Knights of Columbus El Paso Chapter, Knights on Bikes-El Paso and Caballeros de Colon from Juarez, Mexico to recognize the efforts by Supreme and the Knights delegation to help those assisting the thousands of migrants coming to the El Paso/Juarez border region. El Paso’s Bishop Most Rev. Mark Seitz presented a check for fifty thousand dollars to the Bishop of Juarez Most Rev. José Guadalupe Torres-Campos at the Migrant Center in Juarez and Knights from both sides of the border helped unload over two tons of supplies that included clothing, food, water and medicine. It was a great show of unity, charity and fraternity and demonstrated the Knights’ core values and came at a most opportune time.
