100 Years of Service

Pilot Point, TX, Council 2045 recently celebrated their centennial on 10/19/19, with their actual Charter date being October 19, 1919. Historian and Past Grand Knight B.J. Henzler recalled the many years of service provided by the council. He also noted that the Charter Grand Knight Martin Mueller served in that role for 12 years during the council’s early years. Participating in the celebration were 19 Past Grand Knights including two with over 75 years of continual service to the Order. The two included Brother Henzler with 76 years and Virgil Berend with 75 years.
