Coon Hunt

The Weimar Knights held their Annual Coon Hunt and Stew Supper on Saturday, January 25^th in Dubina, Texas. The Weimar Council 2153 will turn 100 years old this year and its believed that the annual KC Coon Hunt originated back in the 1940’s. Since an actual coon hunt (with coon dogs) is no longer held, members still honor our past Council tradition and history by getting together for a stew dinner. The event has become a time for Council Fellowship and Fun before the start of a busy KC year of Charity work and fund raising.
