40 Cans for Lent

In 2011 a Brother Knight assigned to Council 8306, Dennis Chaput started a food drive program known as “40 Cans for Lent”.Since the inception of this initial program it has become a program widely used by other council across the nation.This year we are celebrating our 10th anniversary supporting three local charities.It has been even more imperative that we continued our food donation drive this year with the thousands of families needing our help more then ever.Our Knights hard work and continued social distancing enable us to support our charities currently with over $3600.00 in monetary and 10000 Lbs. of food.
