100 Meals Prepared for Catholic Charities

The Knights of Columbus of Council 4204 at St. Theresa’s church in Sugar Land, prepared 100 meals for the volunteers at Catholic Charity’s food distribution at the Mamie George Community Center in Richmond.The Catholic Daughter of America Court 2211, assisted the Knight by providing cookies and brownies to include in the meals.

The Mamie George Community Center disturbed food to needy families on Tuesdays for 6 weeks from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.The meals prepared by the Knights help feed the volunteers while they loaded food packages into vehicles.

The joint effort between Catholic Charities and the Houston Food Bank distributed over 100,000 lbs. of food each week.
