The Weimar, Texas Knights of Columbus Council # 2153 would like to offer our Resolution of Condolence to the family of Monsignor Gerard G. Cernoch. On July 23, 2020, our Council sustained the loss of an exemplary Catholic gentleman and worthy Knights of Columbus member. He was an Honorary Life member, having joined the Weimar Council March 1956 and chose to remain a member of his hometown Council for 64 years. We Resolve, that our departed Brother be remembered daily in a special Mass offered for the repose of the souls of all of the deceased Brother Knights at St. Mary’s Church, the birthplace of the Order, in New Haven, Connecticut; be it further Resolved, that while we bow in submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, we mourn the loss of our Brother who has been taken from us, and be it further Resolved, that this testimonial of condolence, duly sighed and sealed, be offered to the family of our departed Brother Knight as an expression of our heartfelt sympathy.
