Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton, Texas and Knights of Columbus Council 7196 sponsored a blood drive with Carter Blood Care on October 18th 2020.

The goal of the blood drive was to increase community support and help Central Texas area hospitals in providing blood products for those patients in need. Our goal was to have at least 20 blood donors, however we had a resounding success and doubled our goal with 42 donors screened and 38 pints collected.

Pictured is our District Deputy Gene Presta giving blood with one of the Carter BloodCare technicians.

Also, the knights of Council 7196 cooked a burger dinner for our local college students from the University Mary Hardin Baylor at the Cru Catholic center on August 18th. The knights also stepped up again to cook a burger dinner for the youth group at Christ the King on September 12th.
