“Wheelchair Weekend”

Council 8131 in Lockhart conducted a successful “Wheelchair Weekend” in September 2020.The project was part of the Knights of Columbus Wheelchair Program, sponsored by the American Wheelchair Mission.

The project was led by Brother Joe Cantu, however several other Brother Knights jumped in and helped.The Council raised $3,900, which will provide 26 wheelchairs worldwide.This project was another “Faith in Action” program conducted by the Council.
