Ash Wednesday

The Knights of San Pedro De Jesus Maldonado Council 17449, assisted their Parish Priest, Father Saul Pacheco in conducting an outside distribution of ashes to Parishioners for Ash Wednesday, first day of Lent. The Knights conducted the traffic control and parking of Parishioners vehicles in a drive in fashion. Father Saul and Deacon Arturo then conducted the Liturgy Service and Eucharist Ministers then went from vehicle to vehicle distributing ashes to the Parishioners in a no contact/social distancing fashion by sprinkling ashes on their heads. The Knights then directed all vehicles in an orderly fashion back out of the parking lot and waited for the next service to start. This was done for all 3 services - 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
