This is the daughter of DD32 David Pels. He asked her to write up a little description about what she is going to do at Vanderbilt in graduate school. She said she would send something this weekend.

Here is what she posted about graduate school on Facebook a month ago:

A big step is coming! This August, I will begin graduate studies at Vanderbilt University to get my MEd in Special Education through a grant funded by the Department of Education. My program focuses specifically on high incidence disabilities (ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, etc.) and applied behavior analysis. Attending graduate school has been a dream of mine for awhile and to do so at my dream school feels surreal! My ultimate goal is to become a professor in a teacher preparation program where I can help future teachers be prepared to thrive in classrooms with a diverse set of needs. With a wedding, honeymoon, and a cross-country move to Nashville, it will be a whirlwind summer for and me to say the least!
