Easter Egg “Hunt” GiveAway

Easter was different again this year due to COVID. The children were not able to have an Easter Egg Hunt again this year, but our Family Director Rudy Rivera found a unique way. He assembled a team of 6 to 8 Knights and their wives and the placed over 1400 candy eggs in 300 bags. Then on Easter Sunday after the 10AM Mass our pastor announced that there was a surprise for the children as they exited the church. Outside the church tables were set up with bags of candy eggs on them. With the help of Knights, wives and youth the 300 bags of candy eggs were distributed to the children after the over flow Easter services. Even with the COVID restrictions the children were able to have a different kind of Easter egg “hunt”. It was a beautiful day and the joy expressed by our parish family was priceless.
