The Catholic Pro-Life Principles

As Catholics - We proclaim that human life is a precious gift from God; that each person who receives this gift has responsibilities toward God, self and others; and that society, through its laws and social institutions, must protect and nurture human life at every stage of its existence.

In his well-known pro-life encyclical, The Gospel of Life ( Evangelium vitae ), Saint John Paul II called us to be “people of life and for life.”

The Pro-Life Campaign of the Catholic Church in the United States affirms our responsibility to serve God and others by protecting the most vulnerable among us: the unborn, the elderly, and all whose lives are threatened.

The Texas Knights of Columbus – Pro-Life ACE Wings Are awarded to Knights and their Spouse for participating in five or more Public Pro-Life activities in 1 year.

Council Family Life Director presented the award to Brother Alan and Stephanie Mize with the ACE Wings.

Knights of Columbus Council may present one ACE Wings award to a strong Pro Life non-Knight individual in our parish community. The individual that our parish selected has worked with Terrell and helped guide helped in his role as our council’s Family Life Director.
