Food Giveaway

Msgr. JJ Davis Knights of Columbus Council 7230 recently held a food giveaway at Blessed Sacrament Church in Houston. With food donated by the Compass Group,the Knights rented a refrigerated truck to pick up and store the food overnight. With the help of the Ladies Auxiliary and other parish volunteers, the parish hall was filled with fresh meats, seafood and non-perishable foods in hopes of providing the food to help end hunger throughout the community through a safe drive through distribution. The Knights were able to feed over 1200 people through a network of families, friends and parishioners.
