St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Fort Worth held its October Autumn Festival on October 2, 2021.The purpose of the festival was to provide social fun for the parishioners and to raise funds for the retirement of the church debt. It was a success in both instances. The Council 10930 was asked to provide support by providing the hamburgers and hot dogs for the events, and to assist in the set-up of the festival and provide help in the preparation and serving of the hamburgers and hot dogs and in helping in the various activities.The Council cooked and served several hundred hamburgers and hot dogs and chips and a drink. They were enjoyed by all. The Council also used the event to explain the purpose of the Knights of Columbus to the eligible men of the parish. We were successful in having 10 men sign up as e-members of the Knights of Columbus.Our Council continues to support our Priest, our parish, and the community through many activities.
