The Schulenburg KC’s are very grateful having participated in this community project. The stockshow facilities may have changed throughout the years although the heart/ hard work of the youth is ever present. God Bless!

40 volunteers from our community (Schulenburg KC’s, Keep Schulenburg Beautiful), FFA/4H students, ag. Advisors/leaders and parents: steel brushed the rust off the pens, applied rust inhibitor; and then helped paint the pens on Saturday, October 23rd.

We are forever grateful for those who oversaw the construction of this facility and supported this facility. The LCRA who supported this facility and initiated the first phase of the re-paint project earlier this year. The heart of the re-paint project was engaging the students/ families/ community into giving back to care for facilities so the students can continue showcasing their talents at the Schulenburg Jr. Livestock Show (follow us on Facebook: Schulenburg Jr. Livestock Show, www.sjrlshow.com). The 2022 show will be held on January 21-22, 2022.

A special thanks to Tami Walker/City of Schulenburg staff for washing down the pens and maintaining the facility. The Schulenburg community that supports the youth by giving back through hard work and supporting their projects The ag teachers/extension agents, 4H leaders who energetically engage the youth and teach them important life lessons every day.
