Third Annual Trunk or Treat

Fr. Emil Gerlich Council 10930 held its Third Annual Trunk or Treat for the families and children of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and the surrounding community on Saturday evening October 23. It was a fun time for all. The Knights served hot dogs, chips and drinks to the attendees. Eight parishioners and Knights decorated their trunks or trucks with a Halloween theme and with games. Prizes were awarded for first, second and third place in the decoration contest. Our Grand Knight (and Pirate) Matt Haines stated “Great time tonight at the Trunk or Treat. Thank you so much to everyone who decorated their trunk or truck bed. Also want to thank everyone who came out and participated. The costumes were awesome and the kids all had a great time. Congratulations to the winners of the three top Trunks. ”Over 400 persons attended the event during the evening.

Family activities are always a lot of fun.
