Food For Families

The knights of Council 10524 have been very busy during the COVID era in providing food for families through the Athens Food Bank. PGK Bob Dietz and his team including Ron Clark, Freddy Hancock, Richard Dupree and James Curtis have been handing out food to families at the food bank on a weekly basis during most of the COVID era. The council has spent hundreds of hours in assembling and distributing food to those neighbors in need. In addition the council dedicates revenue from fund raisers and a dedicated parish collection during Thanksgiving services to provide direct financial support to the Athens Food Bank. Recently the council presented a check for $2,000 to the Food Bank.
