The Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly 3004 had their Social last January 29, 2022 at the Greg Kelly center of the St. Gabriel the Archangel community church in McKinney, TX. Chaired by SK Troy Scheffman, Grand Knight of the said church council 12153, the event was well attended by Sir Knights, their ladies/spouses, their families and the Columbiettes from the different councils comprising the assembly.

The social started with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, followed by fellowship and dinner among those who attended. Thereafter, a moment of silence and prayer led by SK Scheffman took place in memory of SK John McAllister and SK Don Ancelin who both born to eternal life this month of January.

In the same activity, the renewal of the exemplification ceremonial vow of the sir knights happened as they reflect on what they had accomplished in the past years, headed by SK Ken Franch, District Master.

SK Franch then in his inspiring message, stressed the importance of unity, charity, fraternity and aboved all patriotism of the organization and sir knights, respectively. So to speak, its impact not only for the brother knights and their families, but as well as for the church, community and the world in general. He also, pointed out the different activities and programs slated for the coming months of 2022 within North Texas.

In part, the social of the assembly was a night of remembrance as the attendees rekindle their friendships and the bond they built, amidst the pandemic. Getting inspired and reconnected for God's greater glory and honor.
