Knights Lead Patriotic Rosary

Council 4054 in Anderson began the New Year by joining together with members of St. Stanislaus parish, the council, and the community of Anderson to pray for our nation! Realizing the necessity of prayers for our country, the council choose January 1st, the feast of the Solemnity of our Blessed Mother, to appeal to heaven for the peace that our nation so desperately needs. Watching the evening news and seeing the strife, dissention and crime that plagues our nation prompted the need to gather and pray. The Patriotic Rosary brought over 40 members of the council, their families and the community together to ask our Blessed Lady, the patron of the United States, to carry our petitions to the Father. Our Lady promised, “ I will intercede for you to God for all your intentions.” This was a very moving experience as we began the New Year praying that God will bless and heal America
