Council 8293

On Saturday, May 21^st, Council 8293 sponsored a “Mass for People with Special Needs” at the Vigil Mass at St. Justin Martyr Parish, Houston, TX. The Council invited the children who were tutored for First Communion and / or Confirmation by catechists who are retired Special Education Teachers. At the Mass, the lector proclaimed the readings from her wheel chair, and the Mass will be signed so that all can appreciate the Word of God. Other parishioners who use wheelchairs will be invited to present the bread and wine and the offerings.
