Mansfield Council 7736 Awards Ten $1000 Scholarships

Mansfield Council 7736 at St. Jude Catholic Church presented ten $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors of the parish. Scholarships were awarded after mass on May 23, 2022.

This is the fifteenth year the Knights of Council 7736 have presented scholarships to graduating high school seniors of the parish, totaling over $120,000 over the years. Applicants were judged based on their academic record, extracurricular, community and church activities. Funds for the scholarship were raised through a scholarship raffle at the parish and many generous contributions from the members of the parish.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal organization dedicated to the pursuit of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Council 7736 at St. Jude was founded in 1980 and presently has over 300 brother Knights.
