Nacogdoches Assembly 2665, Our Lady of the Pillar

On February 26, 2022, a very cold, windy and raining kind of day. The Nacogdoches Assembly 2665, Our Lady of the Pillar, played hostess to the Special Olympics at the Recreational Center on the campus of Stephen F. Austin University from 9 - 11am. This was a basketball skills competition, with thirty-two Olympian athletes competing.

DGK John Clark, Deacon David Darby, SK Bob Walsh, GK Joe Soto from St. Mary's council 10790 on the SFA campus and myself DD Chris Oldmixon cooked hotdogs, bagged them with chips, moon pies and a bottle of water and served 32 athletes, parents and coaches.
